The Functional Agent-Based Language for Simulations (Fables) developed by AITIA International, Inc., has been declared as an open source project under BSD (new) license.

The project is now available at the following site:

Platform roadmap and planned features will also be published up to 2011. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions. Contributors are more than welcome! Anyone can influence the roadmap or contribute to the new features. You can find detailed information at the project site.

We have begun the process of opening up and releasing the full source code of the Integrated Modeling Environment. Most of the materials (including the compiler sources) is accessible at the project repository by now.
