In the June issue of OR/MS Today, a survey is published on experts' opinion about the difference of classical OR models and agent-based models for logistics problems. The authors report conclusions drawn from 20 interviews. The respondents include practitioners of logistics service providers, established professors of renown universities, as well as young researchers, PhD fellows active in the field. Our colleague, Tamás Máhr was one of the interviewed researchers discussing advantages of agent systems.
